Precision Filter

Overview

Precision filters, also known as protective filters, usually have a stainless steel housing. Inside, they use cartridge elements such as PP melt-blown, string-wound, pleated, titanium or activated carbon cartridges. The cartridge type is selected according to the medium to be filtered and the process design to meet effluent water quality requirements.

Scope of Application

Precision filters are used in petrochemicals, natural gas, coatings, inks, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, automotive manufacturing, electronics, electroplating, and food and beverage. They are suitable for filtering, clarifying and purifying a wide range of liquids.

1. Petrochemicals, chemicals: Purification of hydrogen peroxide, resins, lubricants, polymers, adhesives, aviation fuel, oils and catalysts; filtration of process fluids in chemical fiber production; separation and recovery of intermediates and chemical products.
2. Oil and gas: Filtration of CNG at filling stations, amine solutions for desulfurization and dehydrating agents; separation and purification of natural gas and fluids in refineries; filtration of oilfield injection water, workover fluids and acidizing fluids.
3. Coatings, paints and inks: Filtration of latex paints, paint raw materials, solvents, printing inks, printer inks and additives.
4. Pharmaceuticals, biotechnology: Filtration of large- and small-volume parenterals (LVP, SVP), pharmaceutical process water, plasma, serum, pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates, and solvents; filtration in CIP systems and sterile filtration of fermenter inlet air and exhaust gas.
5. Automotive manufacturing: Filtration of electrophoretic paint, surface coatings, ultrafiltration permeate, pretreatment solutions, car wash spray water, and coolant in engine crankshaft production; purification of industrial gases for spray painting and air in paint booths.
6. Electronics, electroplating: Filtration of chemicals and process solutions used in producing LCD screens, photolithography equipment, optical discs, steel foil, microchips and other electronic products; filtration of plating solutions, process gases and cleanroom air.
7. Food, beverages and alcohol: Filtration, purification and sterile processing in the production of wine, rice wine, baijiu, beer, fruit wine, sake, juices, tea, soy milk, dairy products, bottled water, edible oils, vinegar, MSG and other food additives.
